My Journey into Fitness & Pilates:

 Spinning | TRX |Pilates Mat | Insanity 

If you had told me years ago that I’d be a fitness instructor, I probably would’ve laughed. I never liked sports growing up—honestly, I might be the only person you know who failed Physical Education in school. While other kids were busy joining basketball or volleyball clinics, I was researching sports at the library just to pass the class!

At 19, I started working the front desk at a spinning studio, and not long after, I became a spinning instructor. That was my first real step into the world of movement—but my journey truly began when I discovered Pilates.

After being diagnosed with a herniated disc in my lower back, one doctor suggested spinal fusion surgery. Thankfully, I got a second opinion. That doctor recommended Pilates instead. At the time, I had no idea what it was—honestly, I thought it was some kind of yoga and didn’t want to try it. But I did. And oh boy, I’m so glad I did.

Within just a few weeks, my pain dropped from a 10 to a 3. Not only did Pilates help heal my body, it changed the way I saw movement, strength, and wellness. I fell in love with it—and that love continues to grow every day I get to teach and share it with others.

Along the way, I also completed certifications in TRX Suspension Training and Insanity High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which have added a whole new layer to how I work with clients—combining functional strength, endurance, and mobility in fun, challenging, and highly effective ways.
